About Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen

Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen is a registered charity. We bring together the Ukrainian community in the North East of Scotland and run the Ukrainian Hub and the Ukrainian School at the Rosemount Learning Centre.

After the full scale invasion started in February 2022, we have organised ourselves and started working with the local authority and third sector to establish the first Ukrainian community organisation in Aberdeen.

With the support of the Rosemount Learning Centre and the Polish Association in Aberdeen, we first acted as a humanitarian hub, processing and distributing donations going to Ukraine and later, to Ukrainians arriving to Aberdeen.

For newcoming Ukrainians, we organised English language and orientation classes as well as mental health support groups.

Overtime, we organised the Ukrainian School which brings together 20 volunteers and close to 100 children aged 4-14.

Our Mission & Vision

At Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen, our mission is to create a strong and supportive community for Ukrainians living in the North East of Scotland. We aim to foster cultural exchange, promote Ukrainian heritage, and provide educational opportunities for all ages.
